12 August 2008 Announcement No. 12/2008 As published in its announcement No. 09/2008, at Topdanmark's AGM on 15 April 2008 it was decided to reduce the Company's share capital by 240,000 shares. It was also announced that the reduction in capital would be reported to the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency on 16 April 2008 and in practice, the reduction would be effected on the expiry of the time limit for filing objections. The time limit has expired without any objections. Therefore, following Topdanmark's application for registration of the reduction with the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency, the reduction was finally effected today. Following the cancellation of these shares, Topdanmark's share capital will be DKK 166,678,500, equivalent to 16,667,850 shares. Topdanmark has at present bought back own shares for DKK 363m of the programme of DKK 1,050m for 2008 previously announced.
