Poll Conducted by Premier Online Community for People With Disabilities Shows That Majority of Respondents Support Barack Obama

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - August 24, 2008) - People with disabilities support Barack Obama as
their choice for president, according to a recent poll conducted by
Disaboom (OTCBB : DSBO ), the premier online community for people with
disabilities. The poll, which was posted on disaboom.com in an effort to
gain insight into the political leanings of people with disabilities in the
2008 presidential election, showed that 57 percent of respondents support
Barack Obama, 27 percent support John McCain, and 16 percent do not support
either candidate.
"The question of how different minority groups will vote has been a major
point of interest in this election and the disability community hasn't been
included in the conversation," said Dr. Glen House, founder of Disaboom and
a quadriplegic himself. "Disaboom conducted this survey to gauge the
political inclinations of the largest minority group in the U.S. -- the 54
million Americans who live with some form of disability."
For more information about the political inclinations of people with
disabilities, visit Disaboom's political blog, "Disabled Politico" at
www.disaboom.com/disabledpolitico. Throughout the Democratic National
Convention, "Disabled Politico" bloggers will chronicle their experiences
and observations from the Democratic National Convention Blogger Tent, as
they pertain to the key issues affecting people with disabilities.
Disaboom will also present "The Unheard Voice," at the Democratic National
Convention, a series of disability-related events and activities aimed at
showcasing the political and social issues of importance to people with
disabilities.

Note: Disaboom will release the results of a nationwide Omnibus survey the
week of August 25, 2008. The survey asked Americans to consider the
attention people with disabilities receive, versus other minority groups,
from the presumptive presidential candidates.
