Welcome to the Seldom Seen Sights of Asia -- Traveler-author Kenneth Michael Brophy Opens His Photo Journal of Beautiful Places and Scenic Sights

BELLEFONTE, Del., Aug. 27, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Asia is a cradle of wonderful people, places, and cultures, and it still has so many splendors waiting to be explored and discovered. In this great work of photographs and descriptions, traveler-author Kenneth Michael Brophy invites you to unravel the beauty of Asia through Malaysia, the Philippines, and China in A Photo Journal: Seldom Seen Sights.

Over 450 interesting, unusual photos highlight three of Asia's top tourist attractions - Malaysia, the Philippines, and China - on an exciting journey to seldom seen sights of Asia. Malaysia and its world's oldest primal rainforests, the Philippines' over 7,000 islands, many of which are uninhabited, and China's vast mysterious empire are exposed inside the pages of A Photo Journal: Seldom Seen Sights-Asia for your visual pleasure. Enjoy the Asian people, their colorful traditional dress, work habits, and cultural differences. Begin your journey at the top of a 4,580-meter (15,350-foot) glacier mountaintop at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain National Park, China, or float amongst the limestone pinnacles along the intriguing Li River in Guilin, China, or hike the dense rainforests of Sarawak, Malaysia, and discover the orangutan and the world's largest flower - the rafflesia - or simply walk the uninhabited sandy beaches of Palawan Island, the Philippines. You will find something of interest for everyone, from people living off the land as their ancestors have for millenniums to world-class entertainers performing ritual song and dance extravaganzas.

In a supplemental chapter, it gives you a glimpse at the modern contemporary and architecturally creative sports stadiums China has built to house the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. What's more, A Photo Journal: Seldom Seen Sights-Asia contains loads of interesting things to see and do if you are planning a trip to China, Malaysia, or the Philippines.
