Peab Industri acquires companies in Norrland Peab Industri has acquired all participations in Pajala Bilfrakt, with business within transportation and machinery contractors´ services in Pajala and its surrounding district. The company had a turnover 2007 of approximately SEK 25 million and has two employees. The company has 16 associated hauliers and machinery owners with a total of 30 units. The business will be conducted under the brand name Cliffton in Norrland. Peab Industri has also acquired all of the shares in Väglaboratoriet i Norr AB, which engages in asphalt sampling. The company had a turnover 2007 of approximately SEK 4 million and has three employees. The companies will be consolidated into the Business Area Services as from the third quarter 2008. “The acquisition of Pajala Bilfrakt will further expand our transportation and machinery contractors´ services business in Norrland and increase our local presence.
