BioDefense Corporation Narrows Vision for 100 Million Dollar Manufacturing Partnership

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - September 11, 2008) - BioDefense Corporation (http://www.biodf.com) is in final negotiations with several "key" lead manufacturing companies to fabricate and assemble components for its highly sophisticated mail decontamination system, the Mail Defender (V.3).

Recent developments include BioDefense executives traveling to Shepherdsville, Kentucky in early August to visit with local businessman Randall Waldman, CEO of Integrity Manufacturing. Integrity, who recently announced a partnership with California-based electric-car company ZAP (OTCBB: ZAAP), and who is already a DOD manufacturer, sees the possible new relationship as a natural fit for Integrity's overall long term strategic growth plan. Other sites visited in August by BioDefense include candidates in Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut.

BioDefense Chairman and CEO Michael Lu stated, "Our choice of companies seeking a partnership is currently narrowed down to a specific list of manufacturers that includes Integrity. For the right company, this could translate into several hundred million dollars for the manufacturing of the Mail Defender V.3 units over the next few years."

Lu added, "Although there is a pool of transportation and engineering efficiencies to draw from locally, interstate manufacturing relationships in close proximity to key strategic government locations throughout the nation are a must."

Although no agreement has been signed with Integrity Manufacturing yet, company officials feel very optimistic about their recent visits. An announcement will be made at the annual shareholder meeting.
