Midas Fund Shareholder Conference Call


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 25, 2008) - Midas Fund (NASDAQ: MIDSX) will host a teleconference today, Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 3 p.m. EDT to discuss the effect of market turmoil on the precious metals sector and how it affects Fund strategies. Tom Winmill, portfolio manager for the Fund, will moderate the call.

During the call, Mr. Winmill will comment on the first half results and discuss the outlook for the rest of 2008 and into 2009.

The teleconference will last approximately 30 minutes, with a Q&A session if time allows.
