Futuremedia Announces Resignation of 2 Board Members

BRIGHTON, England, Sept. 25, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Futuremedia plc (OTCBB:FMDAY), a leading design, exhibition and events agency, announced today that it has agreed to accept the resignations offered by Margot Lebenberg and Sabine Steinbrecher.

With the acquisition of the FM Learning division by Edvantage Group, the Board Members of Futuremedia plc decided that it would be in the best interest of the company and further its ongoing cost-cutting measures to reduce the Board from four members down to two. Margot and Sabine offered their resignations since both brought learning expertise to the company which was utilized by FM Learning. It was agreed that their resignation be accepted with the completion of the acquisition effective October 1, 2008.

George O'Leary CEO of Futuremedia plc stated, "We are grateful for the major contributions that were made by Margot and Sabine during this transition year. Much was accomplished and without their help the changes made to the company's direction would not have been achieved as effectively as they were. We will certainly miss both of their guidance going forward." O'Leary continued, "With the core focus now on the exhibition and events industry and having over 100 years experience in the senior management team of the Button Group, we believe we are in a great position to focus 100% of our efforts on executing our business strategy moving forward."
