NEW YORK, Oct. 30, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) today announced that Victoria Huff, a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Practice, has received Consulting magazine's "Women Leaders in Consulting" award for her outstanding achievements in the Client Service category. She will be giving a presentation on "Building the Global Consulting Firm" at Consulting magazine's Consulting Summit 2008 and will be honored at an award ceremony and dinner this evening at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
Ms. Huff is a Global Relationship Partner responsible for a Fortune 50 technology client and a member of the firm's Partner Advisory Council. Ms. Huff's role as a Global Relationship Partner includes sponsorship of an alliance with an industry leader in several countries throughout the world. She was a member of the firm's 2007 and 2008 Extended Leadership team and has 18 years of experience leading engagements in the PricewaterhouseCoopers' technology industry practice, where she has served more than 100 clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 10 companies.

Ms. Huff is experienced in advising global technology clients to anticipate create and manage change arising from M&A transactions. She has assisted several global clients prioritize and achieve transaction synergies through integration and/or separation programs that align people, process and technology efforts to the business goals associated with the transaction. Her focus is on complex cross border transactions that require an understanding of the integration between legal and cultural requirements and the underlying process and technologies. Her experience includes a broad spectrum of transactions including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, leveraged buy-outs and alliances.
Based in San Jose, California, Ms. Huff has a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
