ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Dec. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced that Thomas A. Sarnecki has joined its board of directors. Sarnecki is vice president, general counsel, human resources affairs for Amcor Sunclipse North America.

Sarnecki has held his position with Sunclipse since 1997 and is responsible for companywide human resources, employment relations and legal compliance for the corporation's diverse operations in 12 states and in Mexico. He also serves as a global HR delegate for Sunclipse's parent company, Amcor Ltd., located in Melbourne, Australia.
Prior to Sunclipse Sarnecki was labor counsel and director of employment relations for ConAgra Foods in Fullerton. He has additional professional experience with Dart Industries, Frito-Lay and Johnson Controls. He is a graduate of John Carroll University and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
