Virgin America Winter Travel Advisory

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 21, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virgin America's service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is experiencing disruptions due to the severe winter weather in the Northwest. Due to the inclement weather, Virgin America's ability to offer scheduled service could be disrupted or delayed. In addition, guests are advised that severe winter weather is causing delays across the U.S., so it is recommended they check their flight status on-line before departing for the airport for any destination.

Virgin America is waiving change fees and fare differences for impacted SEA guests who may wish to postpone or change their travel plans on flights originating from or departing SEA. To avoid the severe weather situation, SEA guests booked today may choose to alter or postpone their travel plans without paying change fees or the difference in fares. SEA guests booked today may change their outbound and return with no fee for 14 days.

SEA guests are advised to check the status of their flight online at www.virginamerica.com or call Virgin America reservations at 1.877.FLY.VIRGIN (1.877.359.8474) for more information or to make a change to their itinerary.

Virgin America appreciates our guests' patience in the face of these severe weather events and is continuing to closely monitor the weather and will post updates as conditions develop.
