Fitch affirms and withdraws ratings on Landsbanki

Fitch Ratings today affirmed and simultaneusly withdrew the credit
ratings of Landsbanki Íslands (Old Landsbanki). Fitch has also
affirmed and simulteneusly withdrawn the ratings of Old Landsbanki's
UK subsidiary, Landsbanki Heritable Bank Plc.

Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage of Old
Landsbanki and its UK subsidary.
