-- Jean-Louis Bol -- is co-founder of Ion Beam Applications ("IBA"), the
global leader in electron beam accelerators with approximately 80% of the
installed power worldwide, and serves as President of IBA Industrial. He
has over 30 years of experience in developing particle accelerators and e-
beam market applications. Under Mr. Bol's leadership, IBA industrial has
become the world leader in electron and proton accelerators for industrial
applications, including medical device sterilization, food pasteurization,
safety and detection, oil upgrading, and crystal modification. Mr. Bol
began his professional career at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-
Neuve, Belgium.
-- David Geddes -- is President of PREP Consulting, a firm specializing
in refinery economics and planning. His experience includes twenty years at
Bechtel Corporation. He has worked on feasibility studies and economic
evaluations for refineries and petrochemical plants in the United States,
Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America. While at Bechtel he also
managed the PIMS Group that developed the PIMS linear programming system,
which is widely used in the refining and petrochemical industry for
economic decision-making. Mr. Geddes received a BS in Petroleum Refining
from the Colorado School of Mines and a MS in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Colorado.
-- Peter Kilpatrick, PhD -- is the Matthew H. McCloskey Dean of
Engineering and Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the
University of Notre Dame. He is renowned for his research on the colloidal
and molecular properties of crude oil. He has consulted for over 20 global
companies on petroleum chemistry and processing. From 1983 to 2007, Dr.
Kilpatrick served on the faculty of the Department of Chemical and
Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University, ascending to
the rank of Department Chairman from 1999-2007. He has published over 80
papers, delivered approximately 140 invited lectures and seminars, and
currently holds 13 patents with 2 pending. Dr. Kilpatrick received an AB
degree in chemistry, summa cum laude, from Occidental College and a PhD in
chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
-- Mieczyslaw ("Mietek") M. Boduszynski, PhD -- is retired from a
distinguished 23 year career as a research scientist with Chevron Energy
Technology Company. Prior to his career at Chevron he had more than 20
years of academic research involving several universities in the US and
Europe. Dr. Boduszynski has been recognized by the ACS Division of
Petroleum Chemistry for outstanding service as co-organizer for two
symposiums, one on "Incorporating Chemistry into Refinery Process
Modeling," and the other on "Molecular Transformations in Petroleum
Processing," both held at the National ACS Meeting, Chicago, Illinois,
August 1995. In addition, he received the 6th UNITAR International
Conference on Heavy Crude and Tar Sands Award in appreciation for co-
chairing and participation in the Upgrading -- Research and Fundamentals
session. Mietek is a member of the American Chemical Society and the
Division of Petroleum Chemistry Inc., Division of Fuel Chemistry.
-- Peter A. Vermont -- is a Managing Director of TES Ltd, a marketing
communications firm serving primarily energy related companies. His
experience includes nearly 20 years with Shell Corporation where his focus
was on catalyst research. He has considerable experience in petroleum
research and business development. Mr. Vermont received a HBO-b degree in
Analytical Chemistry in Breda, The Netherlands.
