Trustwave Establishes New Latin American Headquarters in Brazil

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - January 14, 2009) - Trustwave, the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions to businesses and organizations throughout the world, has opened an office in São Paulo, Brazil, to serve as the regional headquarters for the company's Latin American operations. Encompassing South America, Central America and the Caribbean, Trustwave's new headquarters will enable better regional support of data security and compliance initiatives, including adoption of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Jarrett Benavidez, Director of Trustwave's Latin American operations, is stationed in São Paulo and has responsibility for sales and business development in the region. Benavidez has more than ten years of sales management experience in the United States and Brazil. He will manage a team of executives who are based in countries throughout the region.

Trustwave will provide its full suite of security and compliance solutions, including validation services for PCI DSS. The PCI DSS is the payment card industry security requirement for entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data, and has been endorsed by all the major card brands -- Visa Inc., MasterCard Worldwide, Discover Network, American Express and JCB. In addition to the São Paulo, Brazil office, Trustwave has an additional regional office in Santiago, Chile.
