NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Customers booked on flights operated by Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), Delta subsidiary Northwest Airlines or Delta Connection carriers to, from or through New York City's major airports from Jan. 18-19 may make adjustments to their travel schedule without fee as a result of expected winter weather.
Customers scheduled to travel to, from or through New York's JFK, LaGuardia or Newark airports on Jan. 18 or Jan. 19 may make a one-time change without fee if tickets are changed by Jan. 22. Travel must begin by Jan. 22.
Changes to origin and destination may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking. Customers whose flights are canceled may request refunds. Complete details are available at delta.com and nwa.com.
