Major Organizations Continue to Turn to Daptiv in Q4 2008

Daptiv Experiences Strong Sales in Q4 in Face of the Economic Downturn; Launches International Version of Product

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - January 29, 2009) - Daptiv, the on-demand leader in collaborative business software, today announced strong continued growth through the fourth quarter of 2008, adding 58 new customers worldwide. Q4 capped the fifth year of revenue growth for the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. As companies evolve to meet rapidly changing market conditions, they are turning to Daptiv to help gain insight into every day work and ensure that it is aligned with overall business objectives.

Daptiv continued to enhance its leadership position in the SaaS industry and in the market for collaborative project portfolio management applications. In 2008, Daptiv:

-- Added more than 200 new customers

-- Enhanced global channel operations with new resellers in Germany, France, UK, Brazil and the Czech Republic

-- Released French, German and Spanish versions of its flagship on-demand solution, Daptiv PPM

-- Was positioned in the leader's quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Project Portfolio Management Applications -- the only on-demand vendor positioned as a leader

-- Secured B-Round venture financing led by Bay Partners and Kennet Partners

-- Launched the Daptiv Greenhouse idea management forum

-- Introduced the innovative Subscribe-to-Live™ program and achieved an average deployment period of 28 days

In the fourth quarter, Daptiv attracted several new major customers, including La Poste of France, The Houston Chronicle, Saint Louis University, Harvard University and Capgemini. Additionally, Daptiv released the Winter '09 edition of Daptiv PPM, which supports Daptiv's expanding international and multi-national customer base with a globalized and localized user interface, support for multiple languages, browsers and platforms, in addition to improvements of core features. Daptiv also attended the 2008 Project & Portfolio Summit Europe along with customer Interoute, Europe's leading telecommunications and network provider, which presented a case study on its selection and implementation of Daptiv for effective and time-saving collaboration across time zones. Currently, more than 20 percent of Daptiv customers are headquartered outside of the U.S.

Daptiv also established a framework for measuring ROI of Daptiv customers. The company commissioned a Total Economic Impact™ study from Forrester Research that validates the quick time-to-value of its on-demand solution. The study highlights a super fast implementation and payback period of less than two months for its on-demand solution, giving organizations a compelling alternative to the long and costly implementation cycles for traditional on-premise packaged software. Please see press release "Daptiv Pays Back in Less than Two Months" for additional details.

"In this economic climate, adaptability is key. By providing real-time insight on what is happening across the organization at any given time, with the capability to plan and adjust on-the-fly, Daptiv helps organizations manage through tight times," said Jeff Pancottine, CEO of Daptiv. "Our strong business results at the end of a very tough year indicate that, especially as budgets are shrinking, companies look for solutions that deliver value quickly."
