Cynergy Announces Executive Team Reorganization in Response to the Continued Growth of Its RIA Business

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - February 5, 2009) - Cynergy Systems, Inc., a global leader in Rich Internet Application (RIA) software design and development, today announced a strategic executive reorganization in reaction to their continued growth. The reorganization includes the creation of several new positions, including a Vice President of Software Development, Director of Sales, Director of Technical Leadership and Director of User Experience. Targeted at bolstering the executive management team in order to support Cynergy's continued growth through 2009 and beyond, the new positions are across all aspects of delivery including Sales & Marketing, Operations and Execution.

Filling these new positions, and supporting their commitment to career development, organic growth and stable expansion, Cynergy is pleased to announce the following promotions of four key individuals.

Mark Shank, Vice President Software Development

With a formal education in computer science from the University of Maryland and a career spent in management and consulting, Mark brings experience, maturity, and an acute attention to detail to all of Cynergy's relationships. Mark is responsible for all of Cynergy's design and development services worldwide by keeping Cynergy's software engineering teams focused towards the end game: building rich, engaging, powerful software through a transparent and repeatable process to create long lasting, mutually beneficial business relationships.

Karl Johnson, Director of Technical Leadership

Karl's 10 year career in software development and consulting experience includes working as a consulting manager with Booz, Allen, Hamilton and leading project management, software development and testing efforts across numerous federal and commercial engagements. Prior to Booz, Karl was a technical lead with Microsoft Corporation in Redmond and specialized in e-mail server and mobile communications development and testing. Karl's group is made up of the elite development leads who are responsible for the day to day management and technical leadership for Cynergy software development projects.

Aaron Adams, Director of User Experience

Aaron Adams leads the User Experience Group at Cynergy, an award-winning creative team that specializes in world-class user experience design. Using Cynergy's unique and proven LookFirst approach to Rich Internet Application development, Aaron's group drives the user experience design as well as information architecture facets of all Cynergy projects.

Prior to Cynergy, Aaron led product development and design for WorkLife Media, recognized as an Adobe MAX Award finalist for consumer-facing applications. He studied Visual Communications at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI.

Rick George, Director of Sales

With a long career in enterprise software development, Rick oversees all sales and business development efforts at Cynergy worldwide. Rick's passion is to help each Cynergy customer achieve that rich and engaging user experience in their own software that allows them to capture market share and drive sales like never before.

Prior to joining the Cynergy team, Rick spent two decades designing and building mainframe, client/server, and web based software applications for a wide range of clients. Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analysis from Texas A&M University.
