Terminal 5 has just celebrated its one-year anniversary and has seen more than 20 million passengers pass through its doors. It now boasts unparalleled standards of comfort and convenience with an array of lounges, crowd-free concourses, simple transfers, and most important, a state-of-the-art baggage system which now has the best customer satisfaction figures in recent history at London Heathrow.
British Airways flight schedule between Atlanta and London Heathrow, effective Sunday, March 29, will be:
Eastbound, BA226, departs Atlanta at 9:15 p.m., arrives Heathrow Terminal 5 at 10:20 a.m. the following morning Westbound, BA227, departs Terminal 5 at 3 p.m., arrives Atlanta at 7:10 p.m. the same day

Terminal 5 offers improved connections for Atlanta customers to the worldwide network of British Airways to include the European Continent, Africa, the Middle East, India, the Far East and Australia.
British Airways' B777 operates the only four-class configuration on the Atlanta-London route. The aircraft's four cabins are made up of World Traveller (economy class) with 124 seats, World Traveller Plus (premium economy) with its own separate cabin of 40 seats, Club World (business class) with 48 seats and First class with 14 seats.
Customers flying in British Airways' new Club World will experience the airline's award-winning business class featuring the six foot fully flat beds, the Club Kitchen and an on demand flight entertainment system.
In addition to passengers and their baggage, the British Airways 777 carries up to 19 tons of cargo between Atlanta and London.
