AS “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” Will Pay the Interest and Principal Amount for the Sixth Period of the Second Bond Issue

Based on provisions of the Latvian Central Depository Rules No.8 “On Dividends,
Interest, Principal and Other Income Payments”, AS “Akciju komercbanka
“Baltikums”” will make a coupon (interest) and principal amount payment on its
second issue notes (ISIN code: LV0000800324) for the sixth coupon period
(21.10.2008.-20.04.2009.) on 24 April 2009. 
 
The total calculated interest amount is EUR 171,875.00; the coupon (interest)
amount per note is EUR 3.4375. The principal amount of the notes is EUR
5,000,000; the due principal amount per note is EUR 100. 
 
According to the issue prospectus of the Bank, the coupon rate is fixed for all
interest calculation periods and is 6.875 % per annum.
