on-demand eDiscovery software for corporate counsel and law firms looking
to simplify and take control of eDiscovery, today announced that Sanjay
Mehta has joined the company as chief technology officer (CTO) and vice
president of engineering. Most recently chief architect and vice president
of engineering at Mimosa Systems, Mehta's intimate knowledge of the
eDiscovery lifecycle, beginning with collection and preservation, provides
strategic insight and understanding of customer issues and a unique
perspective from which to expand CaseCentral's eDiscovery review platform.
"Sanjay's thorough knowledge of eDiscovery software systems and product
development combined with his relevant eDiscovery industry experience make
him an excellent fit as our new CTO," said Tom Thimot, president and CEO,
CaseCentral. "His leadership will continue to drive the innovation of
CaseCentral's leading, on-demand eDiscovery review platform and increase
the value delivered to clients."
Mehta brings more than twenty years of engineering and product development
success and has been responsible for both hosted as well as on-premise
software solutions. Mehta leads CaseCentral's software development
initiatives to deliver customer value. CaseCentral offers the only
integrated software application for early case assessment, analysis,
first-pass review, four corners review and production, as well as the
industry-first eDiscovery dashboard for process measurability.
Before joining CaseCentral, Mehta was chief architect and vice president of
engineering at Mimosa Systems, where he led the development of the
company's enterprise-class NearPoint archiving solution for multiple
business purposes, including eDiscovery, compliance, storage management and
disaster recovery. Mehta was also formerly vice president of software
development at ZANTAZ (now Autonomy ZANTAZ), where he led the design,
development and evolution of the company's highly scalable Digital Safe
compliance archiving service, which supported a capacity of billions of
messages. His product development initiatives for the enterprise archiving
system created the foundational value for numerous global law firms and
Fortune 25 corporations.
"Sanjay worked for me at Cemax-Icon, a Kodak Company, as well as at ZANTAZ,
and has always impressed me with his unique talent of delivering innovative
solutions through great teamwork, strong technological foundation and sharp
focus on customer needs and business value. Sanjay will be a great VP of
engineering and CTO for CaseCentral and I wish him all the best," said
Jean-Luc Chatelain, VP & CTO, HP Software and Solutions.
"CaseCentral's integrated eDiscovery review platform has been providing
corporations and law firms with a proven, differentiable solution for more
than fifteen years," said Mehta. "I am really looking forward to leveraging
my background and in-depth experience with the entire EDRM model to provide
a highly scalable, intuitive and effective user experience to in-house and
outside legal teams for their eDiscovery needs."
