BOLINGBROOK, IL--(Marketwire - July 7, 2009) - Massage Warehouse
(www.massagewarehouse.com), the largest supplier of massage equipment and
supplies, and EarthLite (www.earthlite.com), the world's largest
manufacturer of massage and spa treatment tables, have partnered to create
an exclusive portable massage table, the Savannah™. A portion of
Savannah sales will be donated to support the Massage Therapy Foundation.
"The Massage Therapy Foundation is excited about the new Savannah table and
the unique partnership of Massage Warehouse and EarthLite. This partnership
will help further massage research and help bring massage therapy to more
people around the globe," says Diana Thompson, President of the Massage
Therapy Foundation.
Savannah is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind portable massage table that will be
distributed solely by Massage Warehouse. The Savannah features a hardwood
Maple frame, sturdy Birch decking, 2 1/2" cushioning system, unique
half-Reiki and half-standard endplates, dual wooden headrest outlets and
more. The table will be sold as a value package that includes an EarthLite
deluxe adjustable headrest, face cushion and single pocket carry case. Ten
dollars of the proceeds from every Savannah sold will be donated to the
Massage Therapy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, public charity that
promotes research, community service and education in the field of
therapeutic massage and bodywork.
"The Savannah is a beautiful, eco-friendly, portable massage table that is
packed with professional features in a distinct, rich espresso semi-gloss,
water-based lacquer and warm latte colored Natursoft™ PU-free
upholstery," says Jim Chenevey, President and CEO of EarthLite. "But the
real beauty of the table is its continual gift back to the massage
industry."
"We were looking to create an exclusive table for our customers, but wanted
it to be more than a unique, eco-friendly table at an incredible value,"
says Heather Zdan, Vice President of Marketing at Massage Warehouse.
"Partnering with EarthLite provided the opportunity that Massage Warehouse
wanted. Our mutual donation program is what really sets this table apart
and is a direct extension of Massage Warehouse's mission to help and
support the massage industry."

About Massage Therapy Foundation
The mission of the Massage Therapy Foundation is to advance the knowledge
and practice of massage therapy by supporting scientific research,
education, and community service. Since 1990, the Foundation has granted
over $300,000 to dozens of outreach initiatives, including massage programs
that increase the self-esteem of severely burned kids at Camp Hope,
decrease the occurrence of illness in orphans in South Africa, and bring
hope to survivors of torture; and over $500,000 to fund research that
explores, for example, the psychotherapeutic effects of massage for people
with cancer, and the ability for massage to enhance movement in seniors.
At least 75% of money donated to the Foundation directly funds our granting
initiatives.
