PricewaterhouseCoopers Names John Verderese U.S. Advisory Services Talent Management Leader

Verderese Adds Significant Human Capital and Industry Experience to Leadership Role


NEW YORK, July 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) today announced that John Verderese has been appointed leader of the firm's U.S. Advisory Services Talent Management group. In this role, Mr. Verderese will leverage his significant human capital and human resource transformation experience to help drive the strategy, direction and growth of the firm's Talent Management services within the People and Change practice.

Mr. Verderese has been with the firm for nearly 25 years and has assisted clients across various industries with issues ranging from talent management to diversity and inclusion. In addition to the talent management role, he will continue to help drive the firm's people and cultural transformation services to help clients create and manage a diverse and distinctive culture within their organizations.

Previously, he served as PwC's U.S. Advisory Human Capital Leader. In this position, Mr. Verderese was responsible for all aspects of talent management, development, compensation and benefits for Advisory partners and principals and Advisory professional staff in the U.S. He was a member of the firm's Human Capital Leadership team, Advisory Leadership Group and the firm's Extended Leadership team.

Mr. Verderese continues to be based in the Boston office. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College. Mr. Verderese is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Treasurer of the First Flight Aviation Scholarship Fund.
