REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - July 29, 2009) - MokaFive today announced it has
partnered with Tachibana Eletech
Co. Ltd (TSE : 81590 ) as the distributor for MokaFive solutions in
Japan. Tachibana is currently deploying MokaFive to its first customer and
will roll out additional customers this year.
In addition to consulting, reselling, and developing systems using
MokaFive, Tachibana will also use MokaFive technology to develop new
products to extend its thin-client business unit, TC Cube. The distributor
will use MokaFive Suite to simplify desktop management for the following
use cases: the "Bring Your Own PC" model of choice
computing, mobile computing, disaster recovery and simplified management of desktop
environments for outsourced or contract workers.
"Security is a top concern for our enterprise clients, and MokaFive
provides the best solution to secure desktop environments in a wide variety
of secure remote computing scenarios," said Masao Hamamura, operating
officer, Information & Communication Systems, Tachibana Eletech Co., LTD.
"Another major factor that makes the MokaFive Suite platform superior to
competitive products is that it does not require our customers to invest in
new hardware."
Hamamura added, "The flexibility of MokaFive's technology means that we can
address desktop computing needs that range from decreasing support costs to
smoothing the on-boarding of new workforces in mergers and acquisitions. We
added MokaFive to our portfolio because it can address both the IT and
business challenges our customers face."
"As an established and respected technology solution and service provider,
Tachibana is a solid partner to bring MokaFive to market in Japan," said
Dale Fuller, CEO of MokaFive. "MokaFive is looking to build out its network
of first-class service providers to allow us to solve the desktop computing
challenges of organizations wherever they may be."
