ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Aug. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The boards of directors for I Padrini d'Antonello and Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced an underwriting party for 'An Evening Under the Stars,' I Padrini's premier Fall fundraiser benefiting Canyon Acres and other needy children. The event will take place on Thursday, August 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Newport Beach home of Antonio Cagnolo, owner of Antonello Ristorante.

At the event, I Padrini will honor Antonio Cagnolo with its second annual Shining Star Award for philanthropic efforts in the community.
