SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwire - August 24, 2009) - Carbon Sciences (OTCBB: CABN), the developer of a breakthrough technology that efficiently recycles carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions into gasoline and other portable fuels, announced today that CEO Byron Elton has been invited to speak at the prestigious Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's 2009-2010 Honors Program "Distinguished Speakers Series" in Daytona Beach, Florida on January 25, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Gale Lemerand Center.

Mr. Elton will share with University students and the community an update on Carbon Sciences' breakthrough carbon recycling technology in a lecture titled, "CO2, the Cause of, and Solution to, the World's Energy and Climate Problems."
