Dazzboard Overhauls Nokia's Ovi Suite for Social Media Use

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2009) - Dazzboard, the ultimate social media webtop, today added ten of the latest Nokia mobile phones to its list of supported devices, allowing users to push-and-pull data instantly between their portable device and a PC, or to move content directly from a device onto the social media Web -- all with drag-and-drop ease. Dazzboard can also be conveniently accessed through Facebook and iGoogle with their newly released app and gadget. Without Dazzboard, Nokia users find their phones drastically limited by Ovi Suite, Nokia's proprietary device management software. Ovi Suite offers no social media connectivity and limits users from sharing their content beyond the proprietary borders of the much-maligned Ovi App Store. With Dazzboard's universal device management, Nokia users can now realize full social media functionality through the iTunes-like experience the webtop offers.

Including older models, Dazzboard offers complete support for over fifty Nokia devices, with the rest of Nokia phones able to be recognized as mass storage devices.

Dazzboard currently supports Windows XP, Vista and 7, Internet Explorer version 6 (XP only), 7 and 8, as well as Firefox 3.X. The company will also release APIs for developers to integrate Dazzboard technology for external websites and develop add-ons to utilize the device connection.
