The Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce Chose James Laber as One of 30 Young Professionals Whose Exemplary Talents Have Impacted the Region


STOW, OH--(Marketwire - September 24, 2009) - Leading Information Technology firm AtNetPlus, Inc. today announced that Partner James Laber was selected by the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce as a '30 for the Future' recipient. Winners were recently recognized during the third annual awards ceremony at the Akron Civic Theatre.

The historic theatre sparkled as hundreds of chamber members, friends, and family turned out to support the recipients. The venue served as a powerful reminder to everyone that a bright future also depends on a deep appreciation of our history and all that northeast Ohio has to offer. The talents of the 30 winners were showcased during the awards presentation. Their commitment to improving the quality of life in the region was evident in the long list of impressive and varied volunteer efforts.

A life-long resident of Stow, Ohio, Laber is dedicated to economic development in the area. Over the past 11 years, along with Partner Jay Mellon, Laber enthusiastically has built AtNetPlus into a multi-million dollar corporation. In addition, he actively participates in the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, COSE, and the Entrepreneur's Organization. He serves on the board of directors of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce, as well as NEOSA. All of these organizations engage in creating a strong business climate in northeast Ohio.
