Orders from Japan, Sweden and The Czech Republic to NovaCast´s subsidiary
Foundry Solutions 

NovaCast Technologies´subsidiary NovaCast Foundry Solutions has received orders
for an ATAS process control system, as well as three NovaFlow&Solid simulation
systems from three new customers. 

The order value is approximately 1,5 MSEK. Annual service and support
agreements, TPAs, will also be added. 


The new customers are a manufacturer of industrial products in Japan, a foundry
group in Sweden and the University of Prague. 

NovaCast Foundry Solutions develops technical software for foundries to cover
their complete needs, from planning to process control and quality control.
Foundry Solutions´customers are among iron and steel foundries on the global
market. At half year they had 654 installed licences in 43 countries.
Apart from the Graphyte product line for compacted graphite iron (CGI) Foundry
Solutions also has NovaFlow&Solid for simulating and optimizing the casting
process, ATAS process control system for gray and ductile iron, as well as Metal
Master and Foundry Technology. These products are the basis for the company's
business, leading to considerably increased efficiency in foundries. 
Foundry Solutions´complete offer to customers also includes consultancy and
Technology Partner Agreements (TPA), a channel for successive transfer of
process technologies. These agreements generate repetitive annual income. The
number of TPAs for the important products increased to 203 at half year.


NovaCast Technologies, listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange (NCAS B), develops and
markets enhanced castings for the production of car body parts, as well as
software for methoding, simulating and process control for more efficient
production processes to the global automotive industry and its subcontractors.
With the Camito technology enhanced castings are manufactured in one solid piece
for the production of dies for forming   stamping automotive body components in
a considerably shorter time than traditional dies. Through die manufacturer
SwePart the group has expertise within the whole value chain for the production
and sales of stamping dies.
