NovaCast starts CGI production with Graphyte technology at own foundry

Negotiations under way for first order

NovaCast Technologies is soon to install Graphyte®  software for production of
CGI castings in its foundry at Camito Technology Center (CTC). The installation
is made in preparation for CGI production at CTC. The company is negotiating the
production of an interesting niche product. The installation will also increase
the possibility for further verification of among others positive machining
properties for customers in the nearby markets. 


“We have been conducting extensive verification production in a customer project
for quite a long time. In cooperation with our customer we are preparing for
production in our own foundry. The products we plan on casting will not disturb
the large potential market we see ahead of us in the automotive industry, only
this is clearly a niche market, says Camito Technology Center´s CEO Janni
Dimovski.

NovaCast Foundry Solution´s CEO Peter Vomacka says: “We see a clear advantage in
production with the Graphyte technology at our own site, it allows better
control of the continuous effectivization process while at the same time we can
develop certain service functions for customers in the nearby markets”.

production processes to the global automotive industry and its subcontractors.
With the Camito technology enhanced castings are manufactured in one solid piece
for the production of dies for forming   stamping automotive body components in
a considerably shorter time than traditional dies. Through die manufacturer
SwePart the group has expertise within the whole value chain for the production
and sales of stamping dies.
