MuleSoft Announces Record Bookings in Q3 2009

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - October 12, 2009) - MuleSoft (formerly known as MuleSource), The Web Middleware Company, which is behind leading technologies including MuleSoft Tcat Server, iBeans and the Mule ESB, reports another record bookings quarter in Q3 2009.

For the year-to-date period, MuleSoft has seen a 93 percent year-over-year bookings increase, with a 98 percent renewal rate for subscription customers for the quarter. Under the leadership of CEO Greg Schott, and founder and CTO Ross Mason, MuleSoft continues to drive innovation and customer satisfaction. In addition, the company is hiring aggressively, across all functions, to meet accelerated demand.

New product announcements

In September, MuleSoft announced two new products: Tcat Server, an enterprise-class web application server based on Apache Tomcat, and iBeans, which enable simplified, rapid integration for web applications. With Tcat Server and iBeans, MuleSoft is the first to create middleware that addresses the growing need to develop and manage applications across the datacenter and the cloud, pioneering a new software category called "web middleware."

Customer wins

During the third quarter, MuleSoft continued to gain traction in the market, bringing on important new clients across industries and geographies, including the European Parliament, entertainment industry service provider Entertainment Partners, and global relocation company Graebel. The company has more recently closed its first subscription customers for Tcat Server, including leading financial services company Volvo Finance.
