Polycrystalline, BIPV and CIGS Solar Panel Technology to Be Featured
| Source: Advanced Media, Inc. / RITEK USA
DIAMOND BAR, CA--(Marketwire - October 23, 2009) - Advanced Media, Inc./RITEK USA today
announced the unveiling of its CIGS
thin film solar modules to the U.S. market and debuted new
certifications received for their BIPV (Building Integrated
Photovoltaic Module) and Polycrystalline solar
panels. Among the major milestones announced are CEC listings, UL 1703
Certifications for its Polycrystalline solar modules and TUV Certification
for both its BIPV and Polycrystalline products. Solar panels will be highlighted
in booth #1388 at Solar Power International 2009, to be held in Anaheim,
CA, October 27 - 29, 2009.
"We are both proud and pleased by the innovations that RITEK's myEco
products have achieved," stated Harvey Liu, President of Advanced Media,
Inc (RITEK USA). "The commercial market asked for
advanced solar panels matched with turn-key solutions for sourcing, system
design and installation. RITEK responded to this requirement by building a
network of installers and partners nationwide to meet the specific
requirements of its customers."
Polycrystalline PV
Modules
RITEK's Polycrystalline boasts
new TUV, CEC listed and UL 1703. The centerpiece products in this line are
the PM 220 (220 Watts), PM 200 (200 Watts) and PM 175 (175 Watts) panels,
known for reliability, durability, excellent energy conversion ratios and
customizable back sheet colors. Targeted at off-grid rural solar plants,
commercial grid-tied roof systems as well as warehouses and automated
systems this line offers distributors, installers and contractors a wide
array of proven options. RITEK provides turn-key solutions from sourcing
to system design and installation.
BIPV Polycrystalline Modules
The BIPV line is like a
dual-functioning window that not only converts energy to electricity but
also allows in natural light. The PM 220G boasts an energy module
efficiency rate of 11.73% and generates 220 Watts. This elegant solution
allows for easy building integration without compromising architectural
design. The clear glass is highly durable allowing in natural light and is
available in customizable thicknesses making it the perfect choice for
windows, skylights, curtain walls and sky rooms. This versatile line
expands the realm of LEED building integration, offering architects and commercial installers an
unprecedented range of capabilities.
CIGS Thin Film PV Modules
CIGS ability to absorb and
convert broad spectrums of light (even in low light situations) makes this
line ideal for shady or cloudy environments and projects where material
conversion consistence and performance cost is important. The myEco CM72
module generates 72 watts and currently has an efficiency rating of 10%.
The CM72 offers longer power generation life and is a stable material with
no dramatic conversion drop after long periods of sun exposure. Aimed at
solar plants as well as roof and ground mounted systems, the CM72 makes
solar power possible even in low light environments.
