Aricent Names David Freedman Chief Financial Officer

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - November 10, 2009) - Aricent, a global innovation, technology and services company focused exclusively on communications, today named David Freedman Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Freedman was Chief Financial Officer of KGB, a privately held, New York-based company and the world's largest independent provider of directory assistance and enhanced information services.

Mr. Freedman joins Aricent from KGB Inc., formerly Infonxx, where he has held various positions since 2000. He spearheaded multiple acquisitions in KGB to expand the delivery footprint of services to Asia and Europe including a $110 million acquisition of a major European competitor.

Prior to KGB Inc. David was CFO of Iowa Wireless, a joint venture between Iowa Network Services and T-Mobile. Between 1994 and 1998 he was VP & CFO of Jotan Inc. in Florida where he took the company public, handled all SEC filings and oversaw the acquisition of a company six times larger than Jotan.

Mr. Freedman has an MBA from Nova University and an undergraduate degree from City College of New York.
