Enable IPC Corporation's SolRayo Introduces Next Generation Potentiostats -- Exceptional Value Systems Offered a la Carte
MADISON, WI--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) - Enable IPC Corporation (PINKSHEETS : EIPC ) today
announced that its subsidiary, SolRayo, Inc., is introducing a new line of
highly customizable potentiostat systems for use in energy storage
characterization and electrochemistry applications. Enable IPC
(Intellectual Property Commercialization) focuses on turning technologies
into products and bringing them to market.
A potentiostat is a test and measurement system used by electrochemists at
universities, research labs and companies worldwide.
SolRayo's modular approach to potentiostat manufacturing allows customers
to easily buy the capabilities they want, without the additional cost of
features they do not need. SolRayo plans to offer a full range of
equipment, from a simple, single-channel machine to multi-channel
instruments with all the bells and whistles, including high and low current
options, MHz frequency response, built-in computers, and more. SolRayo
believes this level of customization is new to the industry. The Company
expects to make this major step forward in technology available to the
public in January 2010.
SolRayo has spent months developing potentiostats for its own use in their
lab in Madison, Wisconsin, where it characterizes ultracapacitors and
batteries. They turned these designs into a product line that has the
options electrochemists want and are now offering it for sale.
"Utilizing our intuitive software allows electrochemists to focus on their
research and measurement by getting up and running quickly and easily. Our
product line can be used to test and characterize batteries, capacitors,
solar cells, fuel cells, sensors and metal corrosion," said Dr. Mark
Daugherty, President of SolRayo.
"It is a versatile line of equipment making it easy to buy exactly what you
need to get the job done. This truly is an exceptional value for a top of
the line system."
