Former AKQA Client Partner To Integrate and Guide LBi's Growing US
Operations


Global digital marketing and technology agency LBi (www.lbi.com)
today announced the appointment of Frank Pedersen in the newly
created position of US Chief Operating Officer (COO). Pedersen, who
comes to New York City from London, will be based out of LBi
IconNicholson's Manhattan office, where he will help direct and
manage the integration of LBi's US operations. LBi Group CEO Luke
Taylor made the announcement.

Prior to LBi, Pedersen served as Client Partner at AKQA Ltd., where
he led AKQA's retail practice, and a number of strategic client
relationships incl. BSkyB, Orange, Sainsbury's, Yell.com, HSBC and
Intercontinental Hotels. As a key member of AKQA's senior management
team, Pedersen directed critical operational change initiatives to
support AKQA's rapid growth. Among other accomplishments, he
successfully led an $15 million integrated marketing campaign for
Yell.com, featuring world's first GPS-enabled bus side messaging and
other innovative media formats, culminating in winning Revolution
Awards' best B2C campaign and a Yellow Pencil at the D&AD Global
Awards.
