About the Author

Linda Vital married young, moved around the country, and raised three children. She learned to ride horses at the age of fifty-two at a therapeutic riding facility specializing in lessons for the disabled. Ultimately, she joined the barn's volunteers. She also volunteered for Horsefeathers Therapeutic Riding, NFP in Lake Forest, IL. A New Life for Bud is her tribute to those hardworking horses who are the backbone of their program, serving over 70 riders and their families.
