Whores on Wheels//Clones on Steroids: New Xlibris Release -- Author Ted Knuckey Pens a Hair-Raising Tale of Murder, Suspense, and Mystery

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec. 28, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sounds of gunshots shatter the silence of the night and startle rancher Dutch Evans-an ex-medical student and ex-police detective-who also freelances as a private investigator. Fans of nightmarish tales will be in for a suspenseful encounter as author Ted Knuckey puts together a vengeful predator's lust and the consequences to be paid for in Whores on Wheels//Clones on Steroids, his novel released through Xlibris.

After the gunshots, Dutch finds two of his red Angus cattle mutilated and slaughtered. His quest for answers leads him to the ranch of Jim Haystack. Not only does Haystack have two Black Angus calves similarly slaughtered, but his first wife had been mutilated and murdered, as well. Dutch probes into the matter and realizes that the nearby semi-ghost town offers more questions than answers. Although trying to remain focused on the cattle mutilations, he finds himself becoming deeply involved in local homicide investigations. Furthermore, he becomes involved in an unlikely romance which distracts him from his methodical investigation. Will he get to the bottom of it all?

Spine-tingling and superbly thrilling, Whores on Wheels//Clones on Steroids keeps readers glued to each page from the start until the very end. For more information on this book, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
