The Studio: Introducing the Black Belt Babez -- A Promising Book Makes a Lucid Portrayal of Teenage Life and Adventures

WESTLAKE, Ohio, Jan. 4, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- From the author of Shifted and four other book journals comes a new exciting tale about teenage life, romance, and thrilling action packed adventures. Author Hikia's The Studio: Introducing the Black Belt Babez is set to amuse and offer moral lessons to the readers as it captures the complexities and challenges of teenage life.

Suffused with young, vibrant characters and a dynamic storyline, The Studio introduces readers to the life and adventures of the Black Belt Babez. Endowed with perfectly carved physiques, backed with their positive outlook, these girls are not only successful martial artists; they also carry the lessons and disciplines into the real world of teenage life. They win the admiration of their peers in the gym, the classroom, and the streets. Never shedding their femininity, the girls come to the aid of those around them while struggling with differing family issues in their own lives.

Chanel, Candy, Carmen, and Carole take on the troubles and obstacles of teenage life in northern Ohio. Parents, friends, boys, music, cars, and the staples of high school life keep tossing surprises into their daily lives. With each of them having their own lives and own quests, everything converges in The Studio where they sweat and kick their way through more than just a workout -- realizing that karate and dance have many parallels to real life -- with all its complexities, temptations, challenges, and realities.

Meanwhile, the dancers in The Studio may perform different from the Black Belt Babez, but they are every bit as chic and beautiful. When an up-and-coming boy band needs some beautiful girls for their video, the teen dancers find themselves tangled in more than the boys' muscular arms. What lies ahead for these groups of teens is electrifying and wondrous.

Follow the adventures as the fashion-conscious girls take on mean girls, cheating boyfriends, jealous girlfriends, gangs, street thugs, kidnappers, drug dealers, and sexploiters in The Studio: Introducing the Black Belt Babez.
