(NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced the appointment of Nicholas Campbell as Senior Vice President and Head of Specialty Treaty Reinsurance for Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd. ("ESIL") in Bermuda. Formerly known as the Casualty Treaty operation, the Specialty Treaty unit will continue to offer Workers' Compensation Catastrophe, Clash, Political Risk, and Aviation treaty reinsurance and will expand into additional specialty reinsurance lines. Mr. Campbell brings fifteen years of experience in the industry with a focus on credit reinsurance and structured finance.

Mr. Campbell, a native Bermudian, started his career at Towers Perrin in the United Kingdom, returning to Bermuda in 1999 where he held several actuarial and consulting positions, including Vice President and Actuary with Centre Solutions and Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary with Ace Capital Re (now Assured Guaranty), before joining Endurance in November 2009. Mr. Campbell is a graduate of Cambridge University, a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
