BALTIMORE, Md., Jan. 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VSYM), a security and tele-data solutions provider, announced today that the company continues to widen its reach into the networked video surveillance and fiber optic markets.
Earlier this month, View's Network Services team completed a job for Environmental Systems Products (ESP), the most experienced provider of the world's most comprehensive spectrum of quality products and solutions for vehicle emissions testing. The contract involved the installation of networked video surveillance systems at all of Maryland's 18 Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) locations. 106 cameras were installed along with 18 networked video recorders that will allow for secured remote monitoring, recording and playback. Upon completion of the job, a total of 307 cameras, both new and existing, were networked together and running off the 18 NVRs providing precision monitoring of all locations.
View is also in the midst of an intensive project at the Enclaves Apartment Community in Silver Spring, Maryland, which involves replacing the old, outdated cameras and DVRs (digital video recorders) with new networked IP cameras and NVRs (networked video recorders). The Enclaves is a 23 acre complex with approximately 1100 residents. Due to the size of the property, the job has been broken down into three parts; the first of which is set to be completed within the next few weeks.
In addition, the company's Network Services Division continues to be selected on a contract basis to run fiber optic pathways for multi-dwelling units. View has also submitted bids to other reputable apartment complexes and local businesses for surveillance units and camera installations.
Paul Price, Vice President of View's Network Services Division, states, "Our team of technicians has been busy in the field with the ESP and Enclaves projects, not to mention the numerous fiber optics jobs we've been contracted to complete. The completed ESP, Enclaves and other projects are yielding well over $250,000. We're looking forward to being awarded more fiber optics contracts, and are hopeful that our bids will be selected to provide state-of-the-art surveillance systems to the local businesses that have approached us for price quotes."
