Charles Industries' Telecom Group Names Canadian Representative

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL--(Marketwire - February 11, 2010) - Charles Industries, Ltd. has named David Mochan as the company's Canadian Account Executive effective immediately. In this role, Mochan will bring his product knowledge, industry experience, account management skills and business development relationships to support key customers and expand Charles' presence within Canadian telecommunications, CATV, wireless and power utility service providers.

Mochan brings over twenty years of experience in the design, construction and support of copper, fiber, and coax communications networks. He has worked in both sales and product management for equipment suppliers to such national companies as Shaw Cable, Rogers Communications, Bell Canada and Telus.

Mochan will report to Mark Rahmel, Director Distributor/Special Market Sales for Charles Industries. Rahmel sees Mochan's hiring as an affirmation of the company's commitment to the Canadian marketplace, stating, "Dave is a detail-oriented sales professional who takes the time to understand customer requirements and will help us provide cost-effective and efficient solutions to our customers' network challenges." Rahmel went on to say, "Dave will strengthen our position as a trusted supplier of Outside Plant solutions to Canadian service providers."

Born and raised in Toronto, Mochan earned a Marketing Management degree from Ryerson University and an Advanced Fiber Optic Technology diploma from Seneca College in Toronto. He currently resides in Whitby, Ontario.
