eQuest analyzed the job posting activities of over 100 multi-national Fortune 500 customers who posted job openings through the eQuest delivery system to job boards located in the Asia Pacific region during 2009. eQuest tags each unique job posting in order to measure the performance of each job board. Each job board is evaluated for its performance related to candidate behavior and response rate, as well as by specific job titles and job locations.

eQuest customers gravitated to five major job boards for their employment advertising: SEEK, JobStreet, JobsDB, 51Job, and Naukri. When evaluated by region, there were a number of clear distinctions:
Australia/New Zealand -- SEEK, the Australian powerhouse, was selected by a three-to-one margin over any other job board in that region, further distancing them from their two nearest competitors, CareerOne and MyCareers, by over 100,000 postings. SEEK also chalked up some impressive candidate results, serving back 45 candidates for each single job posted.
Asia -- JobStreet, JobsDB and 51Job, which support a wide range of countries in the Asia Pacific region, were the top three boards selected by eQuest customers. ChinaHR was a distant fourth, possibly due to its practice of levying additional fees on customers who post jobs through job distributors like eQuest.
India -- Naukri continued its dominance of the Indian market for eQuest customers as measured by both posting volume and performance. Naukri delivered an impressive 200 candidates for each unique job posting.
