The latest sentencing will occur for a crime committed In December 2008 when Imran Aslam, a Loomis UK (CViT) employee was shot when making a delivery in Blackburn, Lancashire. At gunpoint, he gave the two robbers his cash box, however, when unable to give them access to the Loomis UK van, he was shot. After days in hospital and months at home, Mr. Aslam continues to recover.
Detective Sergeant Paul Broxson, Lancashire Force Major Investigations Team, stated "Working seamlessly with our team, Applied DNA has provided forensic evidence that the criminals robbed a specific Loomis UK cash box.
