HAWTHORNE, N.Y., May 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SmartPros Ltd. (Nasdaq:SPRO) a leader in the field of accredited professional education and corporate training, announced today that it has launched its new Green Engineering Web site http://greenengineering.smartpros.com to deliver LEED GA Exam Review and continuing education courses to individuals and organizations in the fields of environmental, sustainable engineering and energy management.

The LEED green building certification program encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through a suite of rating systems that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance. SmartPros Green Engineering courses offer preparation for the LEED GA (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate) designation granted by the GBCI (Green Building Certification Institute).
