TeliaSonera has won a 4G license in Denmark

TeliaSonera in Denmark has won a 4G license for the next generation's mobile
broadband services and will launch 4G services to Danish customers during the
spring 2011.

Last week it was announced that TeliaSonera had won a 4G license in Denmark. Now
frequency and auction details have been made public.

- We are pleased that we have secured 4G licenses early in Sweden, Norway and
Finland, and now also in Denmark. We are confident that we within less than a
year will be able to offer our Danish customers 4G mobile broadband services,
says Håkan Dahlström, President of business area Mobility Services, TeliaSonera.

Customers' need for capacity and speed keeps growing and there is an unlimited
demand for bandwidth. TeliaSonera's 4G mobile networks offer effortless use of
interactive TV, videos, advanced online gaming and professional applications,
services that require high speed and capacity. 4G offers speeds in mobile
broadband services between 20-80 Mbit/s with a maximum speed of 100 Mbit/s.

The acquired frequencies enable TeliaSonera to build a mobile broadband network
in Denmark that is more than 10 times faster than today's 3G networks. The price
for
2 x 20 MHz paired spectrum and 10 MHz unpaired spectrum in the 2.5 GHz frequency
band is DKK 336.3 million. The license is valid for 20 years.

Facts: TeliaSonera was the first operator in the world with the launch of
commercial 4G services to customers in Stockholm, Sweden, and in Oslo, Norway,
in 2009. During 2010, the extensive network roll out continues in 25 cities and
recreation areas in Sweden and in 4 in Norway. TeliaSonera has secured
deliveries for 4G modems with support for 3G and 2G during the second quarter
2010. The 4G/LTE system is based on 3GPP standards for Long Term Evolution (LTE)
radio technology and System Architecture Evolution (SAE) core technology. Please
