NEW YORK, May 17, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terra Energy & Resource Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:TEGR), a natural resource exploration technology company, is expanding its oil and gas exploration services offering to Indonesia by signing a market partner agreement with PT. Wahana Petranusa, an oil and gas services firm in Jakarta. The contract sets forth a market partner framework between the companies, granting Petranusa certain rights in connection with the sales and marketing of the Terra exploration services in Indonesia.
"PT. Wahana Petranusa has already proven itself as a strong local partner by arranging for a pilot exploration contract for the Indonesian state-owned Pertamina's oil and gas license territory. Our relationship started approximately one year ago, and we are encouraged to have solidified it via this market partner agreement and the services contract," said Dr. Alexandre Agaian, President of Terra Energy & Resource Technologies.
Dr. Agaian noted that Indonesia is a well established oil and gas exploration and production country also stating: "We have recently announced a similar market partner relationship with Solvex SA in South America, and since then we have provided potential clients there with commercial proposals. We will be holding a series of follow-up meetings and presentations in Buenos Aires during the week of May 17. We believe that Petranusa and Solvex will be valuable channels for offering Terra services internationally, paving the way to valuable contracts and projects."
