Affitech investor Trans Nova Investments is granted an exemption

Affitech investor Trans Nova Investments is granted an exemption from the       
obligation to make a public offer to acquire the remaining shares of Affitech   
A/S                                                                             

* Affitech A/S' majority investor Trans Nova Investments Limited, who owns
53.3% of Affitech A/S' shares has received an exemption from the Danish
Financial 
Supervisory Authority from the obligation to make a public offer to all         
shareholders to acquire the remaining shares of Affitech A/S                    


Copenhagen and Oslo 26th May, 2010                                              
Affitech A/S, (NASDAQ OMX: AFFI), the antibody medicines company, today         
announced on behalf of Affitech A/S and its majority investor Trans Nova        
Investments Limited (“Trans Nova”), who owns 53.3% of the shares in Affitech    
A/S, that Trans Nova today by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has    
been granted an exemption from the obligation to make a public offer to all     
shareholders to acquire the remaining shares of Affitech A/S. Consequently, no  
such offer will be made by Trans Nova.
