| WHAT: | The CDMA Development Group (CDG) announced the Call for Entries |
| for the First Annual Smart Wireless Awards. Co-presented with | |
| exclusive media partner TMC, the awards celebrate innovative wireless | |
| devices and services using wireless modules on CDMA2000® | |
| networks. Specifically, the awards will honor machine-to-machine | |
| (M2M) solutions for consumers, enterprises, and the energy, | |
| healthcare and telematics vertical markets. | |
| The 2010 Smart Wireless Awards will recognize Gold, Silver and | |
| Bronze winners in the following technology categories: | |
| • Wireless Modules | |
| • Devices | |
| • Mobile Services | |
| Submissions will be judged by a panel of industry experts, media and | |
| CDG Executive Board members on the level of innovation, | |
| functionality, form factor, ease of use, features, technological | |
| importance and the business value obtained. | |
| WHO: | The CDMA Development Group is a global trade association formed to |
| foster the advancement of CDMA and other complementary wireless | |
| solutions. Its members, including many of the world's leading service | |
| providers and equipment manufacturers, collaborate on standards | |
| evolution, education, advocacy, regulatory affairs, roaming and device | |
| availability. | |

| WHEN: | The nominations process is open now, and closes on August 20, 2010. |
| The awards will be presented on October 4, 2010. More details will be | |

| 2010 Machine-to-Machine Evolution Conference at the Los Angeles | |
| Convention Center. Co-hosted by TMC and Crossfire Media, the M2M | |
