KIRKLAND, WA--(Marketwire - June 28, 2010) - Treehouse (www.treehouseforkids.org), a Seattle-based community non-profit dedicated to providing services for foster children, recently bolstered its use of social media to connect with current and prospective donors through pro bono consulting services provided by Kirkland-based Revel Consulting (www.revelconsulting.com). As part of its unique Sustainable Giving Program, Revel dedicated consultant hours to help Treehouse analyze its current presence on sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and implement strategies to increase the reach of the organization's fundraising and community outreach efforts. Initial results from the project show a strong increase in Treehouse's social media visibility, including a 55 percent increase in Facebook page traffic and a 15 percent increase in Twitter followers.
