Mr. Carrington is uniquely qualified to offer timely oversight and insights gleaned from his outstanding career. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Marketing & Business Development at First Solar, one of the fastest growing organizations in the solar-based alternative energy manufacturing sectors. Mr. Carrington directed First Solar's global sales and marketing, including targeted expansions in Europe and the launch of First Solar's entry into the United States, Middle East and China.
He brings extensive global marketing experience from his tenure at First Solar and previous leadership positions with General Electric spanning a period of over 15 years. Mr. Carrington also served as General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer of General Electric Plastics (sold and re-named SABIC Innovative Plastics). While at GE, he served as General Manager of automotive marketing in Tokyo; Pacific Marketing Director in Tokyo; and Commercial Director for GE's Noryl resin business in Selkirk, New York.
