IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - August 16, 2010) - Stanbridge College student and employee volunteers assisted Rebuilding Together Orange County in rehabilitating the facilities at Mary's Kitchen on Saturday, August 7th.
Mary's Kitchen is a non-profit organization in Orange that provides food, clothing and other social services to enhance the quality of life for the hungry, homeless and working poor.
Mary's Kitchen served an average of 150 people per day & struggled to meet the communities growing needs. With the passionate help of Stanbridge College volunteers, other local businesses and individuals, Mary's Kitchen's facilities can now help up to 450 people per day. The work scope included painting, installing modular units, building wheel chair accessible ramps, upgrading fences, landscaping, organizing donations and so much more.
