AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - September 13, 2010) - Airspan Networks Inc., a leading provider of broadband wireless access networks, announced today its sponsorship of the Utilimetrics' annual Autovation Smart Grid conference held in Austin, Texas this year. The conference is being held in the Austin Convention Center with the exhibition portion of the show occurring September 13 and 14, 2010.
Following the recent announcement of an agreement with LightSquared, allowing Airspan to exclusively market 1.4 GHz wireless spectrum, the Company is offering utilities a unique combination of 4G infrastructure and licensed spectrum, enabling secure and private smart grid communications networks.
